About the University

The main campus lies in the heart of north east Wales amidst some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in Europe with Liverpool, Chester and Manchester all close by.

You will be learning in state-of-the-art facilities such as our £5million Centre for the Creative Industries and living in modern, comfortable accommodation tailored to your individual needs.

With more than 1500 international partners we are leading the world in elements of scientific research, with Computing, Engineering, Psychology and Communications all judged to have submitted world leading research in the Research Excellence Framework 2014.

Students arriving at the University will have access to our Second Language Learning Centre, which offers an array of services including intensive courses in English.

Full support and guidance is available for all International students from application to enrolment and during your time with us. Our student support team are on hand to help you from the moment you apply to graduation and beyond. We provide a comprehensive welcome programme, including a free airport pick up service for new International students.
