Swansea University is made up of two beachfront campuses, set along the picturesque Swansea Bay. Our Singleton Park campus, nestled between the beach and the greenery of Singleton Park, is set on award-winning, historic grounds, and our Bay Campus, a short car or bus ride along the bay, sits right on the beach. Our dual campus offering is a great way for students to experience Swansea and offers a friendly and engaging study and living space to students from around the world.

Swansea University welcomes students from over 100 countries to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within our 3 academic faculties. The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science offers degrees in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Occupational Health, Operating Department Practice, as well as a range of Healthcare Science and specialist medical degrees. The Faculty of Science and Engineering offers degrees in a range of biosciences and physical sciences, Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. And our Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences includes Management, Law, Social Sciences and Culture and Communication.

Employability is a central part of the Swansea experience. The University's Careers and Employability team provides support throughout students' studies, helping them develop the skills, experience and confidence required to progress into employment or further study. Support includes:

  Students can also access opportunities advertised through the University's careers service, including internships, placements, funded projects and employment opportunities. Many courses offer additional employability opportunities, including a Year in Industry or professional placement. Where available, these allow students to gain workplace experience, develop professional networks and apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. Some courses also offer opportunities to study abroad, helping students develop international experience and transferable skills.

We run a number of Open Days throughout the year where prospective students can meet our academic staff, tour our campus facilities, find out more about our student accommodation options (both on-campus and within the city) and ask current students about their experience.
