The Fulbright Global Wales Postgraduate Award

This is a Masters degree scholarship to study at one of the participating Welsh universities, in any field. The applicant should specify the chosen university, subject of study and proposed supervisor when applying.

Subject: This award is open to all disciplines.

The award covers: Tuition waiver for a Masters, plus a living stipend of £13,450.

Participating universities: Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Swansea University, University of South Wales, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Wrexham Glyndŵr University.

Applications close early each October for the following academic year.

The Fulbright Global Wales Visiting Student Researcher Award

This is a short-term (three to nine-month) research scholarship for a visiting student to study at one of the participating Welsh universities, in any field. Top scholars currently studying for a PhD in the United States are welcome to apply. Scholars may study at any of the Welsh universities: the applicant should specify the chosen university and proposed subject of study when applying.

Subject: This award is open to all disciplines.

The award covers: £4,500 for visiting researchers (usually a three to six month stay). The award is intended as a contribution towards international travel, institutional fees, accommodation and general maintenance costs while in the UK.

Gilman-Global Wales Awards

The Awards are part of the Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship Programme, which enables outstanding American students of limited financial means to study overseas for up to one academic year as part of their undergraduate studies. It is open to applicants at accredited US higher-education institutions, and enables students to earn academic credit while studying at any Welsh university.
