We work with scholarship providers from around the world to make sure there are plenty of opportunities for students to come to study in Wales. The partner scholarships we support are:

  • Chevening Scholarship: The Chevening Scholarship is a prestigious UK government-funded award that provides financial support to outstanding international students for postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.

  • Gilman Scholarship: The Gilman Scholarship is a U.S. Department of State programme that offers funding to American undergraduate students with financial need to study or intern abroad, with a focus on diversifying international experiences.

Gilman-Global Wales Awards

The Awards are part of the Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship Programme, which enables outstanding American students of limited financial means to study overseas for up to one academic year as part of their undergraduate studies. It is open to applicants at accredited US higher-education institutions, and enables students to earn academic credit while studying at any Welsh university.
